The London Neurosurgery Partnership is a group of 11 Consultant Neurosurgeons working together to deliver excellent care for their patients.

They treat the entire spectrum of conditions associated with the spine and brain.

If you can’t see what you’re looking for please get in touch with the practice.

Spinal

Procedures to treat conditions arising from and affecting the spine and spinal cord in both adults and paediatrics.

Brain

Procedures to treat conditions arising from and affecting the brain in both adult and paediatric patients.

  • Adult and paediatric auditory brainstem implantation

Minimally Invasive / Keyhole Procedures

Procedures using state of the art equipment and techniques designed to be performed through smaller keyhole incisions with less disruption to surrounding tissue.

Peripheral Nerve

Procedures to treat compression of the nerve at certain anatomical landmarks causing pain, numbness or tingling related to the area supplied by the respective nerve.

Functional neurosurgery

Functional neurosurgery refers to treatment of diseases of the nervous system in which structurally normal looking nerves behave abnormally. This involves modulating tissue function rather than structure through electronic stimulation.

  • Spinal cord stimulation for failed back surgery syndrome

  • Occipital nerve stimulation for occipital neuralgia

  • Occipital nerve stimulation for cluster headaches

  • Doral root ganglion stimulation for intractable pain

  • Minimal access epilepsy surgery

  • Thermocoagulation (Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy or Laser Thermocoagulation)

  • Occipital nerve stimulation for intractable migraine

  • Awake craniotomy for tumours near the speech/motor parts of the brain

Craniofacial

Procedures to treat conditions early fusion of one or more cranial sutures (paediatric skull joints) causing a possible cosmetic abnormality of the skull shape.

  • Correction of craniosynostosis

  • Gamma Knife radiosurgery
